Summer arrives

imageHappy summer. Friday was the last day of school in our county, and I heard kids running around yelling "summer's here." This cute little guy in a pool (from Bugaboo) seems like the perfect image for a summer card. The sentiment is from Purple Onion; source of flip flops unknown.  All the images are colored with pencils, and there is Glossy Accents on the snorkeling mask.
The layout is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The color palette is from the Bugaboo color/photo inspiration challenge.

This card is for these challenges:

  9. This is totally cute! It reminds me of playing in those backyard kiddie pools as a kid. We always dragged ours to the bottom of the slide.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
