Santa Claus

Tried the Bokeh technique for this card, using red and green inks, but when I added the white, the red turned pinkish. The Santa is from a Hampton Arts set.

This card is for these challenges:
May Rudolph Days -- Christmas
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #334 -- Christmas
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra -- Christmas
Word Art Wednesday #284 -- anything goes

  7. What a jolly card! Pesky red is often a challenge, but I like the pinky hue anyway, it adds to the jollyness! Xxx

  9. That's okay and quite lovely, Sandy. I really like nontraditional colors on a Cc and the bokeh is executed perfectly! It makes an awesome background for your schparkly Santa and his bejeweled ho ho hos!! Hugs, Darnell

Stencils and diecuts

I've had the idea for this card for a while, but I finally got around to making it this week.  I started by stenciling the stone fence...
