Quick and easy Christmas

I couldn't work up a lot of energy for cardmaking, but I did manage one cute card by keeping it CAS.  The strip of snowmen is a snippet; I have a whole stack of bright and busy patterned paper like this, and I am coming to realize this this might be the best use, because cover the whole card with it is just too busy.
I believe this snow couple is a Crafty Sentiments image; it was in a  folder of images I had already printed out. They are colored (sparingly) with pencils; I wanted to stick to the basic red/green/black/white scheme. Also mounted on a snippet.

This card is for these challenges
Rudolph Days -- Anything Christmas
ABC Christmas -- T is for two
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #300 -- use a  sentiment
Pixie's Snippet Playground #248

  1. Before I read what you wrote I thought that you have hit on the solution to how to use these busy repeating patterned papers--just use a stripe of it. Now I read that you realized it too. This is very nice card and simple to make too.

Stencils and diecuts

I've had the idea for this card for a while, but I finally got around to making it this week.  I started by stenciling the stone fence...
