Doggone Cute

I have been wanting to work a card for The Alley Way's Be Inspired challenge #19 for days. When the newest Feeling Sketchy Challenge, #42, came out, I knew the two were a match made in heaven.

Is this pooch not the cutest thing ever?  I love how The Alley Way images are so good for paper piecing, which is one of my fave techniques.  Obviously, I paper pieced the brown on his face. (I made another version using striped dp, and it's stinking cute, too.)

I also love using up scraps, and for this card I just pulled out all my orange-ish scraps and picked up some that looked they were from the same family.

PS: In case you're not aware of it - you've got Word verification turned on... Just wanted to let you know as many people are turned off from commenting when it's on.

  7. I love what you have done. I have to admit that when I saw the inspiration photo - I wasn't happy about all of the orange. But your "rainbow" of orange colors is so cute without being overwhelming orange! So glad to see you at The Alley Way Stamps BE Inspired Challenge.

Stencils and diecuts

I've had the idea for this card for a while, but I finally got around to making it this week.  I started by stenciling the stone fence...
