The Peace on Earth Challenge has a fun mood board chock full of gingerbread, inspiring me to dig out some gingerbread-themed supplies. Here's what I came up with. The central image is a Tim Holtz stamp, which I colored with pencils and circle die-cut. To add a little homemade "flavor" I created a stitched edge by piercing around the edge with a piercing tool, then taking a red pen and connecting the dots, creating a wonky stitch (which is exactly what I would have gotten had I tried actually sewing it). I used three coordinating pieces of card stock, and add a bit of striped washi tape for a little hint of candy cane there.
This card is entered in these challenges:
Peace on Earth #100 -- gingerbread
ABC Christmas -- stitching
Paper Funday #82 -- merry and bright
Word Art Wednesday #726 -- anything goes
CRAFT #768 -- Christmas
The Paper Shelter #660 -- anything goes
Pattie's Creations #236 -- anything goes

Lovely design and I thought the stitching around the circle was thread, so clever! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Funday Challenge and we look forward to seeing more from you soon.
