First flowers of spring

My SIL says her crocuses have come up.  I don't have any at my new house, but at my old house they were always a welcome sign spring was about to arrive.
Which brings me to this card featuring a crocus image from Bugaboo, which has a lovely friendship sentiment. This card uses the Stella Says Sketch layout for this week. For embellishments, there's a line of lavender lace, a diecut butterfly sponged with some yellowish Distress ink, and some gems.

This card is entered in these challenges:
Stella Says Sketch #604
Butterfly Challenge 95 -- purple and patterned paper
The Paper Shelter #327 -- Things that fly
Crafty Sentiments -- Spring
Crafting By Designs -- Friendship
Word Art Wednesday #322 -- anything goes
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge -- use patterned paper

  2. I have a few crocus coming up in the garden mostly all purple ones too. The birds seem to eat all the yellow ones .

Stems and flowers

I love these Tim Holtz flowers, and decided to use them for a CAS card. The card is a mini slimline. The All that was left of the snippets...
