Snowflakes are pretty; winter is not

I got some really pretty snowflake die-cuts as an RAK, so I wanted to showcase them.  Here is my first card doing that.
The layout is the current Sketch Saturday sketch #343.
I've been using snippets of that blue snowflake paper and that snowflake ribbon for a month, so probably everyone recognizes them. I can't help it, they just go together so well.
The card is pretty self-explanatory. The button is shaped like a snowflake and that's a couple strands of embroidery thread in it.

I'm playing in these challenges:
Sketch Saturday #343
Paper Shelter #185 -- winter blues (blue card/winter theme)
Catch the Bug -- Bingo ( Button/snowflake/ribbon)
Word Art Wednesday #165 -- Anything Goes

  1. Great use of the Sketch Saturday sketch. The large snowflake if a great focal point on your card and I like the ribbon that crosses the card. Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration with us this week and we look forward to more of your work soon!

  2. Your card is SO cute! I LOVE this sketch, and I also played along in this fun challenge. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing your card in our challenge as well. It's a blessing to have you play along with us.

  3. Lovely card with a beautiful snowflake die. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Shelter.

  4. So very pretty, love the lacy snowflake die cut. Thanks for much for joining us at Bugaboo this week.

  5. That's a really pretty snowflake die. It is large and fancy enough to do all the talking in this card, leaving your with just a wee bit to finish it off. That ribbon was a great find!

  6. Pure elegance - gorgeous! Thanks for playing BINGO! with us at Bugaboo Stamps this week. Please pop by the blog again tomorrow for the start of our week-long 5th Birthday Celebration - we have new challenge every day and LOTS of prizes to be won!
