Does the silhouette deer look odd next to the detailed tree? I had planned to use a die-cut tree outline, until I discovered this previously stamped and die-cut tree and decided to use it. The tree has white Stickles on it for the snow. I can't decide how I feel about the flatness of the scene (although the tree is on foam tape and I did sponge around the edges of the blue panel, but the ink is too similar to the paper I used for the sky.)

Sandy, this is a great card! I like the solid deer next to the detailed tree. Like Donna said, I think it makes the tree the focal point. But the deer looks great there too. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Word Art Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteThe silhouette of the deer is perfect and the tree as the focal point pops because of its show of dimension... very pretty. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
