Turning toward Christmas

As you are undoubtedly aware, Christmas is less than two months away.  Challenges are a great way for me to find inspiration for cards, and this is no different.

This card uses the non-traditional black-white-silver color scheme.  All the stamps are from a set by Whimsy stamps.  First, I stamped the tree and deer in Versamark, added white EP and heat embossed. Then I stamped the sentiment and star, added silver EP, and heat embossed.  I was a little worried the sentiment would be hard to read, but that extra fine detail silver EP worked wonders on that pretty, intricate font.

This card is entered in these challenges:

Rudolph Days -- anything Christmas

CRAFT Challenge 615 -- non-traditional Christmas colors

Craftyhazlenut's Christmas Challenge #565 -- anything Christmas

Jingle Belles -- Christmas creature

ABC Christmas - V is for vocabulary(use words)

Word Art Wednesday #515 -- anything goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies #2143 -- anything goes
