Nesting time

There's a new challenge at PINspirational Challenge, and this one should be fun because there are a lot of different directions where this inspiration photo could lead you.

For me, the nest was the thing. I used a stamp set from a defunct company called Smartworks. I stamped the nest in brown chalk ink on a snippet of dark kraft paper, then colored in the eggs and added some highlights in colored pencil. The sentiment is also in brown chalk ink.

The image panel is adhered to a blue snippet that's wrapped with some bakers twine, and everything is on a white top-fold card.

I hope you'll follow your inspiration from this photo wherever it takes you. You have to weeks to link up your project to the challenge post.

My card is entered in these challenges:
Crafty Friends #106 -- spring colors
Crafty Sentiments -- anything goes
Pammie's Inky Pinkies #1912 -- anything goes
Word Art Wednesday #378 -- anything goes
Pixie's Snippet Playground #348 -- use snippets
