Non-traditional snowflakes

I love this blue and lavender color combo; I don't think I've used it for a Christmas card before. The busy panel here was made by repeatedly stamping a snowflake image to fill the space, stamping several generations before reinking. It's a technique that was featured on Splitcoast a few weeks ago, and it results in an interesting textured background..

The singular snowflake was inked in purple and clear-embossed.  The snowflakes are from Purple Onion Design.

This card is for these challenges:
Winter Wonderland -- add a snowflake
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #337 -- non-traditional colors
ABC Christmas -- More than 1
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra -- anything Christmas
Word Art Wednesday #286 -- anything goes

  2. This is such a pretty color combo for Christmas. I should really use it more often, as I think it conveys the feeling of "cold." Thanks for joining us at CHNC Extra! :)

Stems and flowers

I love these Tim Holtz flowers, and decided to use them for a CAS card. The card is a mini slimline. The All that was left of the snippets...
