Goodbye Mojo

(Well, hopefully not to my mojo), but goodbye to Mojo Monday, which is ending its run. I always love their sketches and have never been able to participate as much as I'd like to, so I made a real effort to do the final challenge.

This is the card I made; a Father's Day card for my FIL. The image is from Rubbernecker, and the sentiment is made with an alphabet set. I dug out a bunch of different blue snippets and dry-embossed the large navy panel. I also added a strip of blue-and-white ribbon.

This card is for these challenges:
Mojo Monday #500 -- sketch
Simon Says Stamp Monday -- make it masculine
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday -- make it masculine
Pattie's Creations #135-- masculine
Double D -- Blue and white
The Ribbon Girl -- June card challenges
Pixie's Snippet Playground #285 -- use snippets
Catch the Bug -- theme: fast and furious (cars...)
Scribbles #53-- Big wheels.
Word Art Wednesday #286 -- anything goes

  8. A perfect Father's Day card! I'm sad to see Mojo Monday go, too. It's like an institution! I rarely played, but I loved to look and I saved a lot of the sketches. Understandable how busy one gets in life, though. Your card sure turned out perfect with the sketch, and the blue and white is a perfect fit for our challenge at Double D!
