I knocked out three Christmas cards last night. They are all the same, featuring this snowy scene. Someone tucked the stamped images into a swap card a while back, and I'm making an effort to use up those pre-stamped images piling up in my "image" drawer.
The image was stamped on linen-textured paper and it just seemed like it should feature muted colors, so I used a light touch with my pencils. I also squeezed out the last bit of glitter glue to provide a tiny bit of sparkle. The image is matted on a silver layer that's a recycled piece of junk mail.
I'm entering this in these challenges:

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra -- anything goes

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, classic card--love it!
ReplyDeleteI like the textured look to the card and how your coloring helped enhance that. This is a nice snowy scene for sure!
