Die-cut bird with color sponged on. To create the "branch," I took a length of thin brown ribbon, doubled it, and tied a series of knots. (I tried this many years ago and totally forgot about the technique until I recently saw a photo the card I made.) Sentiment is gold embossed.

This is a stunning card, Sandy! Your bird is really nice with the sponged on ink. It really gives it a dimensional feel. And that branch, oh my goodness! I would not have picked up on that if you had not pointed that out. What a brilliant idea. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Word Art Wednesday!
