I describe myself as fun-fold challenged, but sometimes I feel up to a challenge, like with this corner fold card. This particular fold was a bit of a struggle, because you have to flip it over at a certain point to get a vertical orientation -- I missed the flip and ended up with a horizontal card, which doesn't really bother me -- and the paper works in any direction.
I used a few scraps of leftover patterned paper to die-cut the stitched flowers and added a bit of ribbon and some acrylic dots as additional embellishment.
This card is entered in these challenges:
Crafters Cafe #322 -- use patterned paper
Pammie's INky Pinkies #2534 -- anything goes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday -- anything goes
Word Art Wednesday #714 -- anything goes
Creative Crease #106 -- use a fun fold
A Cut Above -- use a diecut
Digi Chooseday #9 -- anything goes
This is so beautiful, Sandy! Such a lovely, encouraging sentiment, too! And a special fun fold! Thank you so much for sharing your pretty card at Creative Creases Challenges!

Lovely card, Sandy! Even without it's fun fold, it's really beautiful and elegant, but that fold is so cool! I too am "fun fold challenged" but his looks like I may be able to give it a try. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We really appreciate you! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, Sandy! I love the papers you used and pretty floral die-cuts. The first time you try a fold is always the hardest one, so give it another go. Thank you for participating in the Creative Creases Challenge! We hope you can join us again soon. Your support is greatly appreciated!
