I was looking through embossing folders a few weeks and and found a stamp set I'd never used hidden among the EFs. (The pineapple stamps and die also included a tiny -- like 1-inch wide -- EF that I guess is supposed to look like pineapple bark. It's pretty similar to the Sizzix EF I used here, only way smaller. The set is called Totally Tropical, and I think it might have been a prize from one of Hazel's challenges.).
When I saw this sketch on SCS, I thought of that set and found the perfect patterned paper to go with it. The pineapple is colored with pencils, and the sentiment is white-embossed. The pineapple, sentiment panel and angled panel are all made from snippets selected to match the patterned paper.
This card is for these challenges:
Double D -- Fruits and vegetables
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday -- add a sentiment
Simon Says Stamp Monday -- dry embossing,
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge -- use patterned paper
Word Art Wednesday #505 -- anything goes
Pammie's Inky Pinkies #2133 -- anything goes
Aloha! Fun pineapple card.
