It's a technique I've wanted to try, so I found this never-been-inked image from Inpression Obsession and stamped it on a pale kraft paper. It might have been a little more dramatic with a darker paper, but I think it works.
The layout is a sketch from Bugaboo's current birthday bash. There's some grosgrain ribbon and a half pearl to add to the festive quality.

ReplyDeleteCount me in as not having tried colored pencils on kraft either (or if I have it was so long ago I forgot). I like your image and the shade of kraft you used. I hope you find your mojo soon. I started on some ATCs last night more because I had to, not that I felt inspired to. Maybe that will get me going.
