I love Christmas tags, and is the season to work on them. One great place for inspiration is the 25 Days of Christmas Tags that Tracy McNeely runs annually on her blog, starting around the first of November.
My tag was inspired by the Santa tag that Tracy made for Day 12 of this year's 25 days.
For my tag, I cut the tag from a sturdy piece of white card stock. I place a snippet of red plaid on one side. The Santa is from Hampton Art, stamped on a white snippet, die cut, colored with pencils (Just went back and added color to the berries after noticing I missed it.) There a touch of glitter on the "furry" parts of Santa's hat.
Originally I was going to do the HoHoHo repeatedly on the white part of the tag, but decided that would be overkill and stuck to one.
Red grosgrain ribbon is the finishing touch.
I'm entering this tag in these challenges:
25 Days of Christmas Tags -- inspired by Tracy's tag on Day 12
Stamplorations Holiday tag linky party
