Santa Claus
Tried the Bokeh technique for this card, using red and green inks, but when I added the white, the red turned pinkish. The Santa is from a Hampton Arts set.

Camping fun
I found this image in a file of stamped images; someone sent it to me, and I don't know who sent it, or what company makes the image, but I think it is hilarious. Thankfully, a full-on raccoon attack has never occurred when I was camping, but there was one incident when some critters got into the Cheetos while we were sleeping, because I left the bag on the picnic table. Another time some critter literally ate thru a nylon canvas pack to get to some snack (trail mix, I think) while we were off having fun..
Anyway, every time I see this image in that file, I think "I need to use that," so this time I took action.
The image is huge, so it was simply a matter of coloring it with pencils. It is mounted on a snippet of orange paper, and there are a couple of leaves (die-cut from green snippets) in the corners (for that outdoorsy feel). The sentiment is a clear sticker, placed on a white snippet and cut with a fishtail edge.

Cookie Challlenge #69
It's time for another cookie challenge at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie, and this time the prize is being offered by Sherri Baldy's My Besties line of digi stamps. To join in the fun, all you have to do is create a project inspired by these very pretty cookies.
I loved how pretty and delicate these cookies are, and I used that as inspiration for a Mother's Day card. I used a white panel with an embossed frame, and embossed the sentiment with blue pigment ink and clear EP. The sentiment was cut with a circle die and mounted on a kraft colored scalloped circle. For the embellishments, I found some pretty, multi-layered chipboard flowers.

Golden butterflies
Today's card is sort of a snippets spectacular, with every bit of paper coming from the snippets file. There are two different gold snippets on the butterflies, which provided some nice variation on the butterflies. (the die is a yard-sale find, and I am not sure who made it.) The graph paper-style panel was the only bit I had of that, and I thought it worked so well with the butterflies I decided to keep it even after stamping the sentiment at a wonky angle.

Cookie Challegne #68
It's time for another challenge at if You Give a Crafter a Cookie, and this time the theme is "April showers/May flowers." To enter the challenge, simply create a project inspired by the cookies.
My card features an adorable image from The Paper Shelter. I have a hand injury that makes coloring a bit painful, so I took advantage of the fact that The Paper Shelter digis come in both a line art and colored version. I printed the colored version on glossy paper. The frame is chipboard that I rubbed Versamagic Sea Breeze ink on, then wove a skinny brown ribbon through.

Vintage Christmas
This card features Mojo Monday sketch #495. To me, the sketch doesn't have anything that is an obvious focal point, and I usually have trouble with that kind of sketch, but I am happy with how this came out.
The papers are all from a Recollections set called Vintage Christmas.
The wreath has a ton of bling, with two different sizes of red gems.

Baking up a storm
I'm doing a swap that calls for a cooking theme. I dug out this set called Cuppie in the Kitchen from Taylored Expressions. The image is colored with pencils, with the colors picked up from the fun background paper.
